BIOGRAPHY

Dr. James M. Sheridan is from Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois for his undergraduate and Medical School studies. He completed his Plastic Surgery Residency at the Weill-Cornell Medical Center in New York City. While there, he spent several months training at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, with an emphasis on Breast Reconstruction. He completed a Post-graduate Fellowship in Maxillo-Facial Trauma Reconstruction at the University of California, Davis in Sacramento, CA.

Dr. Sheridan started in practice in central Illinois in 1990. He led the Department of Plastic Surgery for nine years at the Carle Clinic in Urbana- Chamapign. While there he headed the Cleft Lip and Palate team. He relocated to Peoria, Il in 1999. While in Peoria the focus of his practice was on Breast Surgery and Body Contouring surgery.

Dr. Sheridan and his family came to Austin in 2012 where he joined Personique that June. The focus of his practice remains in cosmetic breast surgery and body contouring surgery. He also has a special interest in Botox and injectable fillers, having received special training from Allergan and Mertz Aesthetics in injectable techniques. He and his wife have two children who attend school here in Austin. He enjoys skiing, photography and cycling.
