When you come in for your Cellulite Reduction treatment, we will have you comfortably lay down so that the treated area is easily accessible. The technician will then use the Velashape machine by moving it around the targeted cellulite. The device creates a suction that brings the skin closer to the energy source in the handheld device, acting as a massage to help relax and stretch the stiff fibrous bands under the skin that cause the dimpling and orange peel texture.

During the process, infrared and RF energies will heat your skin and tighten tissue, which causes the fat cells to shrink and potentially die. The heat from the Velashape helps reduce skin laxity, tightening the existing underlying dermal collagen fibers and builds more firmness and elasticity by stimulating collagen and elastin production.

CELLULITE REDUCTION RECOVERY

There is no downtime during recovery from this procedure. Your treated area will be red for the next few hours but should return to normal after that. If you have sensitive skin, you may also experience some swelling.
