Procedure
- Excess fat tissue is suctioned from beneath the skin
- Surgeons insert a hollow, wand-like device called a cannula through small incisions in the skin
- Liposuction incisions are very small, less than ½” in length, made in inconspicuous areas like natural skin folds
- Fatty deposits and cells are broken up and suctioned with a vacuum attachment
